    Check your FY25 benefits for premium holiday deduction information

    Employees who were enrolled in medical, dental, vision, and/or supplemental benefit coverages for all of FY24 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024) will see a $0 deduction on their R14 paycheck (paid 7/12/24) for these benefits.

    New Arctic Engagement Award Recipients Announced

    July 12, 2024

    Four proposals from across the ÁùºÏ²Ê»ã system will receive Arctic Engagement Award funding as ÁùºÏ²Ê»ã launches the Arctic Leadership Initiative. Proposals were ranked on their potential to expand ÁùºÏ²Ê»ã's Arctic engagement and visibility, increase the impact of ÁùºÏ²Ê»ã's Arctic activities, elevate ÁùºÏ²Ê»ã's competitive position, and generate new partnerships and funding. Awards ranged from $18,000 to $20,000.

    Federal injunction delays implementation of Title IX Final Rule in Alaska

    In early July, a federal judge temporarily blocked the Biden administration's 2024 Title IX final rule from going into effect in four states, including Alaska. This makes 14 states where the final rule is now on hold by judicial order.
